Description

The City of Riihimäki (hereinafter referred to as "the client" or "the contracting entity") hereby invites a tender for aggregates used on construction and maintenance sites in accordance with this invitation to tender and the documents annexed thereto. The aggregates are divided into two sub-areas: Sub-topic 1: Retrieved aggregates Sub-topic 2: Aggregates delivered to the site The tenderer may offer aggregate varieties to be picked up or delivered to the site, or both. Tenderers may submit tenders for all or only some of the aggregate varieties in the sub-areas. The aim is to establish a framework agreement and a maximum of eight (8) suppliers can be selected by sub-area, depending on the type of aggregate, provided that sufficient admissible tenders are received. In this procurement, the criterion of the most economically advantageous is the lowest price. The minimum quality requirements laid down in the invitation to tender enable comparisons to be made only on the basis of price. Within the sub-areas, tenderers shall be ranked according to the lowest price according to the aggregate varieties. The estimated starting date of the contract is 1 January 2026, the duration of the actual contract period is two (2) years. However, the agreement will enter into force at the earliest once the parties have signed the agreement. The contract can be extended by one (1) two (2) year option period. The subscriber decides on the exercise of the option period independently no later than three (3) months before the end of the contract period. The contract shall be applied during the option period in accordance with the terms and conditions in force at the end of the actual contract period. The customer is the City of Riihimäki. The customer does not commit to certain volumes during the contract period.
