Description

The invitation to tender concerns the transport of library materials and their delivery services between Helle libraries in accordance with the contract notice and its appendices. The City of Porvoo and the related municipalities Askola, Hanko, Inkoo, Lapinjärvi, Loviisa, Myrskylä, Pornainen, Pukkila, Raasepori, Sipoo and Siuntio are responsible for the tendering process. Helle libraries include Askola, Hanko, Inkoo, Lapinjärvi, Loviisa, Myrskylä, Pornainen, Porvoo, Pukkila, Raseborg, Sipoo and Siuntio libraries. A total of 20 offices are involved in the transport. The locations, their contact details and drop-off times are indicated in Appendix 1 Locations. Transportation is carried out 1-5 times a week. The smaller libraries are visited 1-2 times a week and the larger ones 3-5 times a week (see drop-off/pick-up of offices in Appendix 1 of the invitation to tender). The planning and scheduling of routes is the responsibility of the tenderer. The transport includes the loading and unloading of the material to be transported in accordance with the contract at locations specified by the customer. The contract period is 1.6.2025 - 31.5.2027. Unless the customer decides otherwise, the contract will continue until further notice from 1 June 2027.
