EU pre-notification / operator of international trade fairs in the food sector
The doubling of Finnish food exports by 2031, as announced in the Government Programme, is a goal that requires diversified export promotion measures. An effective way to increase the awareness of food companies and their products is through the country departments at the most important international trade fairs for the food industry in the target market areas. The country departments create a country image and present the services offered by the participating companies. Country image marketing and the related uniform look at international fairs is an effective way to promote our food industry and strengthen Finland's country image as a producer of high-quality food. The target of the procurement is an operator who implements the uniform country image of the Finnish country department for key international trade fairs in the food sector (maximum 10 per year) and recruits the companies participating in the fair. The trade fair to be included in the service must be in line with the food export strategy in the preparation of the "Business-driven growth platform for food exports" project funded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The operator is expected to have the capacity to produce various ancillary activities that will bring additional visibility and serve companies in the acquisition of new contacts. Additional activities include various networking events, buyer events and media events. In addition, the activities of the chef at the trade fair stand and side events can be an ancillary activity, which increases interest, brings attention and strengthens Finland's country image. Typical fairs where visibility is sought include: Biofach in Germany, FOODEX in Japan, Anuga in Germany, SIAL in France, Food Ingredients Europe in Germany/France, PLMA in the Netherlands and Biofach in Germany.
