Description

Avinor is looking for a CIP solution to better utilize the existing staffing and infrastructure related to HSB screening of baggage across its sites. Avinor’s challenge is that we have multiple sites and multiple vendors of HBS machines set up as individual closed environments. We even have multiple vendors on the same sites, resulting in several closed environments co-existing and requiring dedicated staffing.
Avinor’s goal is to have one central system that allows operators placed at different sites to process baggage independent of machine vendor or site, hence achieving a better flexibility in relations to staffing utilization.
After wide exploration of the market, Avinor have not found any vendors who have market ready, vendor independent CIP solutions as required.
