Description

Deze aanbesteding is opgestart naar aanleiding van de beslissing van de Provincie Limburg voor het plegen van groot onderhoud op de N271 tussen km 108.9 en km 116.4, het maken van een veilige fietsoversteek nabij kruispunt de Grens, het afbouwen van twee x twee 100 km/u naar twee x twee 80 km/u, het vervangen van bestaande VRI s voor i VRI,s en het veiliger maken van de N 271 door middel van een verkeersdetectiesysteem voor langzaam verkeer.
Het doel van deze aanbesteding is dat na realisatie van het constructief onderhoud het wegvak N271 hm. 108.9 tot 116.4 en de hierbinnen gelegen kruispunten qua vormgeving voldoet aan de richtlijnen voor een gebiedsontsluitingsweg cf. het handboek wegontwerp en de CROW richtlijn 315.
Voor het gebruik door het landbouwverkeer van de N271 gelden er na realisatie van het onderhoud geen wettelijke beperkingen. Hierdoor zal de overlast en (subjectieve) onveiligheid veroorzaakt door deze doelgroep in het centrum van Gennep zijn afgenomen.
