Description

Die DeltaPort GmbH & Co. KG (im Folgenden: DeltaPort) in Wesel plant eine hochwasserfreie Geländeaufschüttung zur „Erweiterung des Hafen Emmelsum“. Das Vorhaben liegt in der Stadt Voerde, Kreis Wesel (Regierungsbezirk Düsseldorf). Ziel ist die Erweiterung des Hafen Emmelsum durch die Aufschüttung hochwasserfreier Flächen im Umfang von ca. 15,8 ha und Verlängerung der Kaimauer um ca. 130 m. Das Vorhaben wird in 2 Arbeitsschritten durchgeführt. Zunächst erfolgt die Errichtung eines sogenannten Fangedamms am äußeren Rand der Aufschüttung. Anschließend wird der Bereich zwischen dem Fangedamm und dem vorhandenen Hafengelände mit Boden aufgefüllt.
Zur Vorbereitung des Bauvorhabens müssen Bäume und Sträucher gefällt und Weidezaunanlagen versetzt werden. Zudem sind Verpflanzungen von Weißdörnern und Kopfbäumen und Neupflanzungen geplant. Die vorgesehenen Arbeiten liegen teilweise im direkten Vorhabenbereich oder grenzen unmittelbar an das Vorhaben an.
