Description

Om te voldoen aan de verplichte MZG registratie op basis van ICD-10 codering wordt binnen het ziekenhuis de informatie uit het medisch dossier grotendeels manueel gecodeerd. Deze codering naar ICD-10 is een complex en kritisch proces gezien ze de basis vormt voor een substantieel deel van de ziekenhuisfinanciering in kader van de zorg voor gehospitaliseerde patiënten. Om de performantie van dit codeerproces te valideren en mogelijk te optimaliseren maar ook om de medewerkers te ondersteunen in het coderen van deze dossiers, wenst het ziekenhuis een tool ter beschikking te stellen om enerzijds gecodeerde dossiers van gehospitaliseerde patiënten te auditen en anderzijds om de medewerkers van de MZG dienst te ondersteunen in het coderen in ICD-10 van deze dossiers. De oplossing moet voldoen aan een aantal specifieke eisen.
