Description

The subject of the public contract is the development of a generic database with indicators from life cycle assessment – LCA, Life Cycle Assessment localised for the Czech construction market (‘LCA database’) and the preparation of a related methodology for the evaluation and categorisation of building structures and buildings as a whole on the basis of their environmental impacts, including a comprehensive catalogue of LCA impacts of selected building structures. The contracting authority expects the database and methodology to be verified and validated using LCA case studies of the impacts of building structures and buildings. At the same time, the output of the Public Procurement is also a related web-based calculation tool for simplified LCA buildings and its subsequent implementation into the web interface. The Provider shall prepare a proposal for suitable data formats of outputs and a proposal for interconnection of outputs with governmental systems on the basis of consultations with the Contracting Authority and IT experts. The Client expects the Provider to ensure the operation and updating of the database and the web interface for the period of performance of the Contract until 30 June 2026. The subsequent long-term operation of the database and the web interface, including the update of individual outputs, will be provided by the Contracting Authority after 30 June 2026.
