Description

The Gymnasium is located in the school centre in the northern area of the city of Verl. It was first built in 1977 only for secondary level I (grades 5-10) and later extended and adapted in several construction phases for further requirements (upper level since 1984, additional specialist and classrooms ...). The last major extension with conversion was realized in 2014 according to plans of a competition procedure from 2010. The 4-movement and 5-movement school with currently about 1,200 pupils is to be supplemented for the conversion from G8 to G9 by further classrooms, differentiation and specialist rooms, lounges for the teacher area and the upper school as well as sanitary rooms. Overall, the school is to be expanded by a net usable area of about 800 - 900 m2 and, if necessary, restructured in sub-areas. The preliminary draft for this planning task has already been prepared in cooperation with representatives of the school and politics in the form of a feasibility study and adopted in the corresponding committees. It forms the basis for further planning and implementation services. The aim of the procedure is to find a suitable architectural office for the planning and implementation (performance phases 3-9) of the extension of the Gymnasium Verl to G9. The planning task is classified in fee zone III according to HOAI 2021, Annex 10.2 - List of buildings - Schools with average planning requirements, for example primary schools, secondary schools and vocational schools. According to the cost estimate of the feasibility study of 24.01.2024, the gross total budget (KG200-700) is indicated at approximately € 8,560,000 for the year 2024. The gross construction costs (KG 300) then amount to around € 4,870,000 and the technical building equipment (KG 400) to around €1,250,000. For unforeseen and necessary container positions, a lump sum of around 858,000 € gross is additionally provided.
