Development and delivery of training books to inform the public
‘Development and supply of training books for public information’ under grant agreement reg. No 101142694/29.11.2023 for the implementation of project BG-IDRU-1 financed under the Union Civil Protection Mechanism. The subject of the contract includes the preparation of content (graphic and text), prepress, printing and delivery of four types of training books, as well as the preparation of content of four types of training books intended for visually impaired people. The implementation of the public procurement contract shall include the implementation of the following activities: Activity No 1: Preparation of content (graphic and text), prepress, printing and delivery of four types of training books with a circulation of 58 000 copies of each type; Activity No 2: Preparation of content, prepress, printing and delivery of four types of educational books designed for visually impaired people with a circulation of 2000 copies of each type. The training books under Actions 1 and 2 should be developed for the following target groups: Students I-IV class; V-VII class students; Students VIII-XII class; A large public. The training books for target groups ‘Students Class I-IV’, ‘Students Class V-VII’, ‘Students Class VIII-XII’ must contain information on the risk of earthquakes, severe storms and nuclear and radiological accidents and on the appropriate safety behaviour before, during and after a disaster caused by the listed risks. The books should also include pages with gamewords, colouring, puzzles and/or other games appropriate to the age of the respective target group, and the books under Activity 2 should also be intended for visually impaired people. Training books for the general public target group must contain information on the individual disaster preparedness required (preparation of a ‘disaster backpack’, ‘family action plan’, etc.) and how to communicate to the population in the event of danger or disaster. Quantity and volume of the contract: Activity No 1: Preparation of content (graphic and text), prepress, printing and delivery of four types of training books with a circulation of 58,000 copies of each type. The quantities of training books per species for the respective target groups are as follows: 1 (one) type of training booklet for each of the target groups: ‘Grade IV pupils’, ‘Grade V-VII pupils’, ‘Grade VIII-XII pupils’ containing information on the risks of earthquakes, severe storms and nuclear and radiological accidents and on the appropriate safety behaviour before, during and after an earthquake, a severe storm and a nuclear and radiological accident. Each type of booklet is produced in a circulation of 58 000 copies; 1 (one) type of training booklet for the target group ‘Wide public’ containing information on the individual disaster preparedness required (instructions for preparing a ‘disaster backpack’, instructions for drawing up a ‘family action plan’, etc.) and information on early warning and public disclosure systems, including on causes and cases in which the National Early Warning and Public Disclosure System is activated and information on the BGALERT system for disseminating public warning messages. The training booklet is printed in 58,000 copies. Activity No 2: Preparation of content, prepress, printing and delivery of four types of educational books designed for visually impaired people with a circulation of 2000 copies of each type. The quantities of training books intended for the visually impaired by species for the relevant target groups are as follows: 1 (one) type of training book intended for visually impaired children for each of the target groups: ‘Grade IV pupils’, ‘Grade V-VII pupils’, ‘Grade VIII-XII pupils’ containing information on the risks of earthquakes, severe storms and nuclear and radiological accidents and on the appropriate safety behaviour before, during and after an earthquake, a severe storm and a nuclear and radiological accident. Each type of booklet is drawn up in a circulation of 2000 copies; 1 (one) type of training booklet intended for visually impaired persons from the target group ‘Wide public’ containing information on the necessary individual disaster preparedness (instructions for preparing a ‘disaster backpack’, instructions for drawing up a ‘family action plan’, etc.) and information on early warning and public disclosure systems, including reasons and cases in which the National Early Warning and Public Disclosure System is activated and information on the BGALERT system for disseminating public warning messages. The training booklet shall be drawn up in a circulation of 2000 copies.
