Description

The agreement covers the purchase and rental of dam equipment in the form of double-tube dams ("watertubes") to protect against elevated water levels. It is essential that the dam structure does not move under pressure from larger bodies of water in order to ensure the safety of persons during deployments. This must be ensured without compromising the flexibility and efficiency of the dams’ use. The structure of the dam shall be equipped with fixed filling points or brackets to which filling hoses shall be coupled. Watertubes must be adaptable in lengths (cut to length) on site. It must be possible to lay and coil watertubes together with a mechanical-hydraulic solution. The product shall allow the state of the system to be monitored via an electronic/mechanical automatic system capable of alarming critical conditions. The agreement includes an expected purchase of 9000 meters of watertubes and rental/purchase of an additional 3000 meters in reserve at the Supplier. The agreement also includes an obligation on the part of the supplier to assist in laying, transporting, maintaining, cleaning, repairing and preparing dams after use.
