Heavy-duty lifting tables for DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH, New plant Cottbus
As part of the ‘Neues Werk Cottbus’ (NWC) project, DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH is planning to build a new maintenance plant for the heavy maintenance of electric multiple units on the site of the already existing Cottbus plant. To ensure availability, the new building was divided into two separate sections/halls. While Hall 2 was already put into operation at the beginning of 2024, Hall 1 is currently under construction. Commissioning is scheduled for early 2027. In Hall 1, three level machining tracks (rail top = floor level) will be built on which, among other things, the exchange of underfloor components will take place. By means of a lifting jack system, the vehicle is first lifted. Subsequently, the component to be replaced (including an associated load carrier) should be lowered downwards and brought out laterally under the vehicle. For this purpose, self-propelled heavy-duty lifting tables are to be used, which are considered to be the subject of this invitation to tender.
