At the 3-course elementary school in Erndtebrück, about 300 children are currently being trained. As of August 2026, all primary school children in first grade are legally entitled to a full-time place. The municipality of Erndtebrück therefore wants to meet the increasing demand for school space, as the capacity of the primary school has been exhausted. The primary school has an area of about 4,000 m2 GFA. The capacity of the primary school is already exhausted, which is why the lessons are currently partly in an interim solution. The existing land of the primary school and the existing structural situation limit the development potential.
