Description

The object of this service is the leasing of machinery for the provision of snow removal services for the winter period 2026-2027 on the National and Provincial Road Network, which is responsible for the maintenance of the Technical Services Directorate of the Regional Unit of Florina (Government Gazette, Series II, No 3307, 11.12.2012, Table IV). During the winter period, in order to maintain uninterrupted traffic on the National and Provincial Roads and minimise disruption to the social and economic life of the Region, works are carried out: - snow removal to maintain the passability of the highways at a sufficient level for the season, - anti-frost work aimed at preventing slippery roads due to the formation of a thin layer of ice and involving the distribution of salt, - removal of falls to restore traffic and road safety, where necessary.
