Description

Das Westpfalz-Klinikum Kaiserslautern plant im Rahmen des 3. Bauabschnitts seines Bau-Programms die grundlegende Sanierung des Bettenhauses – Haus 8. Bei dem Bestandsgebäude Haus 8 handelt es sich um ein im Jahre 1959 in Stahlbetonskelettbauweise errichtetes, elfgeschossiges Haus, das bis Ende 2013 mit einer maximalen Auslastung von 181 Betten betrieben wurde.
Das Gebäude wird zukünftig überwiegend als Bettenhaus genutzt, in der Ebene „0“ befinden sich außerdem die Gammakamera und die Physiotherapie. Das Gebäude entspricht nicht mehr den heutigen Mindestanforderungen an einen modernen Krankenhausbetrieb.
