Description

The Pieterlen and Selzach stations do not meet the requirements of the Disability Equality Act (BehiG) and must be adapted accordingly. The available perron lengths and heights as well as the ramp slopes to the underpass no longer meet today's requirements. On the section between Olten – Solothurn – Biel/Bienne, the development of regional passenger services SBB does not foresee any significant changes in the offer compared to today. As part of this project, the access to the railway and the perron system will be modernized and adapted to today's requirements.
