Description

In Finland, the dose rate of external radiation is monitored with a real-time network of measuring stations covering the whole country. This automatic monitoring network maintained by the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK) includes approximately 260 measuring stations. In addition to the radiation measurement sensor, the measuring station consists of a central unit. The central units of the stations are mainly installed indoors, a small part outdoors. The installation service to be procured includes replacing the electronics plate, antenna and sensor connection housing of the cabinet with a new one. STUK will supply the selected supplier with the equipment to be installed. The switching includes the following steps: 1. Removal of old electronic plate and peripherals 2. Installation of a new electronic plate and attachment of peripherals 3. Installation of the antenna and sensor coupling housing in outdoor areas 4. Electrical safety tests for installed equipment 5. Documentation of installation work 6. Some smaller tasks according to the instructions (more details in the invitation to tender).
