Description

Coventry University has been using virtual learning environments since 1999 and now has one of the largest systems in the country.
In 2008 the university changed from WebCT/Blackboard to Moodle which was hosted on our own servers.
In September 2012 we switched to an externally hosted Moodle and are looking to continue with external hosting in the years to come.
A typical student will be enrolled on 6 or 7 Moodle courses each year and will be expected to login on a daily basis.
All students also have access to their own Mahara e-portfolio.
Five Moodle 2 instances will be required; Coventry University London Campus, Acua limited, Coventry University Services limited and two for Coventry University.
