Description

Construction project:
For the Helmholtz Centre Potsdam, Deutsches Geoforschungszentrum, the centre of Potsdam is planned to the south-east of the centre of Potsdam on the listed telegraphenberg to build a new laboratory building with offices and server room. The gross base area is approximately 3 850 m². The new building is to be constructed to the west of the existing B-G building complex on the edge of the Science Park. The construction field is located in a partially forested area with increased terrain energy. To the north and east of the internal infrastructure network. This is, on the one hand, an access to an underground car park located in Haus B-G and, on the other hand, a minor footpath. The new construction is intended to take account of the ensemble protection of the historical existing buildings in the area of Telegrafenberg, which is designed to provide landscape gardening. It is a 5-floor free-standing building with 1 basement floor.
