Description

Avinor needs to establish radio communication between ground and tower, initially for remote controlled towers (RT). The current radio infrastructure is built on Motorola technology, and this procurement must therefore be based on Motorola Mototrbo digital/analogue base stations. In order for Avinor Flysikring to be able to approve and use the Motorola Mototrbo, the base station must be able to have interface with VCS (tower switch) and recording. It is therefore necessary to develop a gateway that takes care of the interface between Mototrbo and VCS/Recording. The development and adaptation of the gateway must occur in Motorola ́s proprietary systems and the procurement is therefore a direct procurement from Motorola. The contracting party will be Motorola Solutions GmbH.
