Description

The main winter maintenance activities in all lots include: snow-cleaning (patrol and periodic) of roads until the respective degree and level of winter maintenance is achieved, clearing snow-drifts and snow-drifts and removing compacted snow-ice layers and securing roads against slipping: sand spreading. • Cleaning of municipal roads from snow (with snow cover over 5 cm), from snowdrifts in order to create normal patency for road vehicles in winter conditions. • Sanding of areas with ice and steep areas where there is a risk of traffic congestion due to the inability of cars to overcome them. • The periodicity of cleaning /sanding/ on the territory of the municipality will be carried out according to the instructions of the Assignor. •During the execution of the order to comply with the requirements for safe working conditions, municipal regulations and the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. Requirements for the operational condition of the traffic lane after carrying out snow removal and ice protection activities: the presence of a compacted layer on the road surface is allowed on separate sections: levelled surface of the snow ply seals: condition of the surface of the traffic lane - treated with chemical substances for melting snow and ice or sanding: maximum period for carrying out activities to combat the winter slipperyness of the road - 3 hours.
