Description

The subject of this publication is the conclusion of non-exclusive discount agreements pursuant to § 130a(8) SGB V for medicinal products for the active substance bimatoprost (WHO ATC code: S01EE03) as part of an ‘open-house model’. All interested and suitable pharmaceutical companies are offered a discount agreement in accordance with Paragraph 130a(8) of the SGB V, subject to uniform conditions and a uniform access procedure. There is no exclusivity. The quantity to be purchased is unknown when the agreement is concluded and depends, in particular, on the demand of insured persons, changes in the number of insured persons, on the regulatory behaviour of contracted doctors and on the dispensing and stockpiling behaviour of public pharmacies. The contracting authority does not guarantee minimum quantities of purchases.
