Description

Due to the influx of new metro equipment (M5) and the growth of passenger numbers, there is a need for a more robust energy supply for the metro. To this end, the subway traction increase project has been initiated with the aim of achieving a more reliable and upscaled energy supply in which the traction installation of the NZ line is also integrated into the existing traction energy system of the subway. With the realization of this project, these cables will be replaced where necessary. In anticipation of the award in the tender for the construction and installation of the traction energy supply, the cable is tendered and commissioned separately. The purchased cable will be handed over to the Contractor for the construction and installation of the traction energy facilities as a management supply. The cable must be produced before the start of the traction reinforcement project in mid-August 2023, and ready for call-off.
