Description

This dossier focuses on: (1) Develop a prototype of the RIS, specifically 2 different prototypes will be produced during the project. The first based on metal patch elements and the second based on the use of new tailing materials developed in the project, (2) Measurement and testing of the custom polymer materials developed in the project for the design of new intelligent surfaces based on semi-solid materials. Once a complete prototype of the RIS has been produced, it will be necessary to test the panel to evaluate its behavior. This will be done for the two types of RIS envisaged: based on conventional electronic technology, and prototyping with new customized materials. Performance testing of panels based on polymer elements and performance evaluation of RIS panels at frequencies corresponding to commercial bands will also be carried out (3) Once the RIS is optimized and prototyped, the implementation of the prototype and its corresponding microelectronic part of the RIS device is required.
