Provision of local bus services
Movia hereby invites you to a market dialogue on the supply of local bus services. Close bus is Movia's offer of a flexible solution for transport needs in rural areas and is a completely new form of bus that only runs when someone has booked a trip. The local buses therefore also run without a fixed route or timetable and can stop and drop passengers off at all the stops in a given area. Close-up buses can be ordered via an app that Movia makes available to the operator on a smartphone 24 hours a day. The app is only used for booking trips, not for ticket purchases. Close-up buses are currently operated by slightly smaller diesel buses than those normally used for regular regular services. It's running. 3 local buses in Faxe Municipality in the Haslev area on an experimental basis until the end of 2025. Buses run every weekday from morning to evening and on weekends during daytime hours. Movia's upcoming tender for short-haul buses is expected to be divided into two phases: N1 – supply of local bus services in Faxe Municipality, which is a continuation of the current pilot scheme. N1 is expected to be offered as a short contract of 1.5-2 years. Publication of tenders is expected to take place in Q1 or Q2 2025 and the start of operations is expected to be at the end of 2025. N2 – tender for local bus services in Faxe Municipality and possibly other municipalities located in Central and South Zealand. N2 is expected to be tendered as a long-term contract with zero-emission equipment, with the publication of tenders at the end of 2025/early 2026 with the start of operations in mid-2027. Reservations are made for the political decision-making processes of the municipalities, including that the tenders may be rescheduled, amended or cancelled as a result of the municipalities' political wishes. The market dialogue is held at one-to-one dialogue meetings with Movia at Movia's address at Gammel Køge Landevej 3 in Valby. Meetings via Microsoft Teams are also an option. The meetings are expected to take place in week 3 2025 on some of Movia's designated days. The registered bidders will receive written material no later than one week prior to the meeting on which topics Movia particularly wants the market's input. If you wish to participate in a dialogue meeting with Movia, you must contract tender consultant, Charlotte Holst Nicolaisen, at Kommunebuscontract@moviatrafik.dk.
