Description

The City of Espoo and WeeGee Oy (later also the contracting entity, the Subscriber or the Subscribers) invite tenders for the Electrical Equipment Operations Director competition. For the purposes of this invitation to tender, a consultant means a service provider.
The subject of the procurement is the duties of the director of the operation of ten (10) substations. In accordance with Section 62 of the Electrical Safety Act (1135/2016), the operation manager is responsible for:
- the use and maintenance of electrical equipment complies with the Electrical Safety Act (1135/2016)
- the electrical equipment is in the condition required by the Electrical Safety Act (1135/2016) during operation
- the persons carrying out the work are professional and adequately trained for their tasks.
The subject of the contract is described in more detail in Annex 1 "Description of the subject of the contract" to the invitation to tender.
The City of Espoo and WeeGee Oy will conclude separate agreements with the selected service provider. The City of Espoo's contract includes substations 1-9 listed in Annex 2 "Transformation plants", and WeeGee Oy's contract includes substations 10 listed in Annex 2. The City of Espoo does not commit to certain procurement volumes during the contract period.
