The University is looking for a web platform with ready-made functionality out-of-the-box as much as possible. It is important that the tender clearly states what functionality is available in the platform and what functions and adaptations must be made as customer-specific development. Super administrators at the university are trained in web and design and have previous experience of making even more advanced settings on the university's websites. It should also in the future be possible for the university's super administrators to do all kinds of actions and settings that do not require knowledge of programming. The University's super administrators will be involved in the process of designing the new website's user interface (UX). For the University of Åland, it is important that the provider of the website maintains a high level of information security and digital accessibility. The University is looking for a web platform and supplier that has a structured and active work to manage the solutions they offer.
