France-Paris: Mechanical engineering installation works
Terminal 2A:
— increase capacity to remove baggage/baggage in gallery on line A6,
— increase in baggage removal capacity in A5,
— extension of the A06 check-in area by adding 4 check-in banks equipped with reversible automatic baggage removal (DBA).
The scope of the consultation includes the installation of bank conveyors, electromechanical integration of equipment, modification of baggage supervision, automation and control of new equipment to be integrated. On the other hand, zone A5, which contains 7 hauls (6 conventional deposition + 1 HF), does not allow handling of high-density GP flight (B773W at 450 pax). In order to allow room for manoeuvre in the summer 2016 season, the project also provides for the addition of 2 counters equipped with reversible DBA so as to handle either a new GP company or a overhang AC in the event of a tightening of schedules. The current offer of baggage in gallery on the A5 carpet is compatible with this increase in removal in the check-in area. The supply and programming of automated baggage check-in systems will be carried out by another active market specific to the purchase of the systems (i.e. outside the perimeter). The finishing work will be carried out on the basis of specialised contracts of the CMU CDGA.
