Description

Auf dem Gelände des Klinikums Herford soll, die aus den 1970er Jahren stammende bisherige, Kinderklinik durch einen den heutigen Anforderungen entsprechenden Neubau ersetzt werden. Der geplante Neubau für die Kinder- und Jugendklinik soll neben einer Ambulanz im Gartengeschoss eine Station der allgemeinen Kinderkrankenpflege im Erdgeschoss, eine freie Stationsebene im 1. Obergeschoss sowie eine Intensivstation im 2. Obergeschoss beinhalten. Das neue Gebäude soll eine direkte Anbindung an das bestehende Mutter-Kind-Zentrum erhalten und die vorhandene, eingeschossige Apotheke integrieren. Die Baumaßnahme wird bei laufendem Betrieb, auch der Apotheke, durchgeführt.
