Description

The subject of this call for tenders is the procurement of kits for the early detection of genetic diseases in neonates and the transfer of equipment for the production of 33,000 samples of neonatal dry blood screening for the correct execution of the research project ‘MetabPlus: a flexible and efficient multi-IEM Newborn Screening Program’, financed by public-private partnership projects, of the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2021-2023, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. Thus, the contract referred to in this specification will be financed under the project “MetabPlus: a flexible and efficient multi-IEM Newborn Screening Program”, the contract is part of the project CPP2022-010108, funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by the European Union-NextGenerationEU/PRTR. For each sample, enzymatic measurements will be made to evaluate its enzyme-substrate activity and the gene and transcriptomic profile of each one will be evaluated. Likewise, all gene expression tests for the indicated metabolites will be included, allowing the study to be carried out using multiplex technology in pre-designed plates and / or cards, thus allowing to reduce the consumption of reagents, by working with the minimum sample volume. It will work with an integrated workflow: enzymatic, genomic and transcriptomic analysis. In order to ensure the reproducibility of the studies, all samples shall be analysed in triplicate in critical determinations.
