Description

The concession, which is planned to be tendered in autumn 2026, deals with the management of the canteen at the headquarters of the district administration department of the state capital Munich with breakfast, snacks and lunch from 2027 onwards. In addition, a conference service and optional services [provision of so-called "wedding packages" (snacks, drinks) for weddings taking place in the local registry office as well as the provision of a lunch offer for another service (by means of advance ordering, delivery and provision of dishes)] are to be provided at the same time. The existing lease is expected to expire in the first half of 2027. It is intended to publish the invitation to tender for the subsequent lease, which is expected to have a duration of 5 years, possibly with an extension option, in September 2026. The purpose of this notice is solely to draw attention to an intended call for tenders. In particular, this advance notice does not initiate a procurement procedure or other competitive procedure or market exploration and, in particular, does not constitute prior information within the meaning of Section 22(1) KonzVgV or Section 38 VgV. If the foreseeable value of the contract is - as expected - the current relevant threshold in accordance with § 106(2) No. 4 GWB [Article 8 of Directive 2014/23/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 February 2014 on the award of concession contracts (OJ 2014 L 138, p. 1)), the call for tenders will not be published in the Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union in accordance with §§ 97 et seq., 148 et seq. GWB (Directive 2014/23/EU), but primarily on the award platform of the City of Munich (https://vergabe.muenchen.de/NetServer).
