Description

Aircraft engines. The UK Ministry of Defence (UK MOD) defence equipment and support (DE&S) helicopter engines project team (HEPT) has a requirement for the supply of up to quantity 28 55-L-714A engines and associated equipment for fitting to new Chinook helicopter to supplement to existing UK Fleet. The T55 engines are produced by Honeywell International Inc, USA, who are also the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the Chinook is operated by the Royal Air Force (RAF) through the joint helicopter command (front line command).
