Description

The acquisition is based on NordLab's strategic goal of speeding up microbiological diagnostics and procedure, introducing new NhO studies. The introduction of an arthritis panel and a bacterial pneumonia panel for intensive care patients will speed up the initial result by 1-2 days compared to the current method. This, in turn, speeds up the decision-making process and improves the patient's prognosis. NordLab published a request for information in the Hilma service on 22.8.2025. On the basis of the responses to the request for information, it could be concluded that there are no other fully automatic devices of bioMérieux Suomi Oy on the market in Finland for the isolation, amplification and detection of nucleic acid. NordLab has signed an agreement with bioMérieux Suomi Oy.
