Description

Die Stadt Bitburg plant auf dem Grundstück der Grundschule Süd in Bitburg eine Erweiterung des Schulhauptgebäudes und den Neubau einer Sport- und Mehrzweckhalle mit Freianlagen. Unter einem Teilbereich der Sport- und Mehrzweckhalle soll ein eingeschossiges Kellergeschoss mit Lagerräumen und Haustechnik errichtet werden. Eine bestehende Sporthalle wurde im Vorfeld der Neubaumaßnahme vollständig, einschließlich Teilunterkellerung und dem Verbindungsbau zwischen Sporthalle und dem Schulhauptgebäude , zurückgebaut. Das bestehende Schulhauptgebäude bleibt erhalten. Das Grundstück (Flurstück 1 217/13) weist einen polygonalen Grundriss mit einer Gesamtfläche von 8 .400 m² auf und liegt zwischen den Straßen Kirchweg, Borenweg und der Straße An der Südschule.
