Description

The implementation of the city management is assigned to an external service provider. Among other things, this commissioned body takes over the supervision and coordination of the entire network work on site. The tasks of city management are carried out both by personal presence and by means of digital and mobile forms of work. For city management, an office is available on the premises of the City Information Office. It is centrally located within the pedestrian zone and also houses the headquarters of the Gesellschaft für Wirtschaftsförderung und Stadtentwicklung mbH Werl (in short: GWS Werl). The city management is provided with a furnished workplace for a fee. The structural implementation of the redesign of the Werler pedestrian zone is an important municipal project, which is to be accompanied by city management. During the refurbishment, municipal and external suppliers join in with their work. The Werl municipal company is investing in the future of wastewater infrastructure by working on the sewer network. Stadtwerke Werl invests in the expansion of its network on the basis of its target network planning. In addition to the energy supply, the networks for heat, drinking water and communication are also being expanded and modernised. Duration: 01.07.2026 to 31.12.2028
