Description

The Perlach Tower is protected as a single monument. In the course of the renovation work, the master builder has to extensively rehabilitate the historic masonry, which ranges from construction phases of the Romanesque to Gothic to modern times. In sensitive construction processes, interventions in the historical fabric of the building are required. Support pockets must be made for the new steel staircase construction in the masonry, these must be provided with veneer masonry after installation of the steel staircase. Reinforced concrete slabs with steel components are installed in the tower shaft and in the access area. The currently existing reinforced concrete staircase, which is located in the compound of the various, historical masonry, is to be built back in sections by means of scaffolding supports. For the refurbishment of masonry, construction site facilities such as construction heating and condensation room air drying are required.
