D-Ilmenau: printers and plotters

Several offices of the Water and Shipping Administration (WSV) want to restructure their printing and copying landscape. To this end, printing and copying concepts (DKKs) have been drawn up by the authorities involved. The authorities involved are to be equipped on the basis of the respective DKK.
The contractor will be expected to achieve the following results:
1. Indicate the proposed configuration of the equipment (by location) based on the individual DKK
2. List of consumables (manufacturer, type and forecast quantity) for the proposed equipment configuration
3. Cost calculation for realisation
4. Explanation of how consumables are supplied and disposed of (e.g. toner cartridges)
5. Description of the service services (type, scope, processes in the event of a service incident)
6. List of functionality provided above the profile of the proposed device configuration
7. Provision of equipment
8. Supply of all consumables, except paper, to the equipment supplied
9. Second and third-level service for all device locations. For selected equipment locations, the contractor should also provide the first-level service as required. The service should in principle be provided on the basis of SLA.
The overall structure of the authorities to be equipped is as follows:
— Approximately 8 authorities with approximately 66 properties distributed throughout the Federal Republic of Germany. The authorities employ around 2200 employees.
— More than 7 million pages are printed or copied each year, mostly on DIN A4, sometimes also DIN A3. The colour content is approximately 30 %;
— In the larger part of the authorities, colour area printers in DIN A0 format are also used.
The aim of the procurement procedure is to conclude a single framework agreement with the tenderer covering the entire scope of the contract. The participating authorities will conclude contracts on their own behalf on the basis of the Framework Agreement for the implementation of their respective DKK.
The entire project will be carried out in German (wording and writing).
