Description

Im Kanton St. Gallen, zwischen den Gemeinden Uzwil und Zuzwil, soll eine neue Langsamverkehrsverbindung über den Fluss Thur realisiert werden. Die neue Fussgängerbrücke verbindet das rechte Ufer im Bereich der ARA Zuzwil über die Thur mit dem linken Ufer beim Gillhof Uzwil im Bereich der Wehrschwelle. Nebst ihrer Funktion als Langsamverkehrsbrücke, welche die Etappe 4 des Thurwegs tangiert, fungiert die Brücke als Träger einer Abwasserdruckleitung und vier Leerrohre, in welchen, nebst den geplanten Elektroleitungen, auch weitere Werkleitungen eingezogen werden können. Die Ausschreibung umfasst den Stahlbau.
