Description

The Italian Sportiva Medicine Federation is the entity responsible on behalf of the State, CONI and the National and International Sportive Federations (pursuant to Law No 376 of 14.12.2000 on the rules governing the health protection of sporting activities and the fight against doping) to carry out anti-doping checks at sporting events organised throughout Italy.
The checks in question may be carried out in any part of Italy, on any day of the year and at any time.
The task of carrying out these checks is the transport of the materials (documents and technical equipment) necessary for organising and carrying out the checks themselves, as well as the biological samples (urine and/or blood) taken by the medical inspectors Doping Control Officers/Blood Control Officers (DCO/BCO) of the Italian Medical Federation.
The subject of the contract is the handling and transport of materials (documents or goods, whether by body or in one or more packages) and biological samples of urine and/or blood, necessary for the organisation and performance of the abovementioned anti-doping control activities ordered by FMSI.
