Description

1. The subject of the contract is the service of dislocation of library collections of approx. 4800 m, intended for comprehensive maintenance, on the route: The Princes Czartoryski Library, Krakow, ul. Saint Francis of Assisi Marka 17 - Spytkowice Castle (former National Archives). 2. The subject of the contract covers the implementation of three Stages: 1) Stage I - up to 7 days from the date of conclusion of the contract, including: a) delivery of containers/transport boxes for transporting 300 boxes/archiving cartons previously packed by the Ordering Party; b) start distributing library collections for preservation, on the Kraków – Spytkowice route. Packing boxes with objects into containers / transport boxes and unpacking transport in Spytkowice, bringing and laying boxes with objects in indicated rooms on racks indicated by the Ordering Party. 2) Stage II - up to 21 days from the date of conclusion of the contract, including: a) delivery of archiving boxes/cartons ready to pack and secure all the collections referred to in Chapter II (Table I and Table II) of the Detailed Description of the Subject-matter of the Contract (Annex 2 to the TMS). b) continuation of the distribution of library collections for conservation, on the route Kraków – Spytkowice. Packing archiving boxes with objects into containers/transport boxes and unpacking transport in Spytkowice, bringing and laying boxes with objects in indicated rooms on racks indicated by the Contracting Authority 3) Stage III – up to 90 days from the date of conclusion of the Agreement, including: a) packing boxes with objects and preparing objects for dislocation: removal and transfer to storage places before release; b) delivery of containers/transport boxes; c) packing boxes with objects into containers/transport boxes; d) distribution of library collections for preservation, on the route Kraków – Spytkowice. Unpacking transport in Spytkowice, bringing and laying boxes with objects in indicated rooms on racks indicated by the Ordering Party. 3. All activities will be carried out within the hours set by the Ordering Party, taking into account the working time of the Library employees - 08:00-16:00, with the proviso that changes in the scope of the contract are allowed at the stage of drawing up the schedule. 4. The Ordering Party estimates the execution of two dislocations per day. 5. The Contractor shall be responsible for: 1) Providing materials for the packaging of historic objects (archiving cartons, large-format packaging, protective materials in accordance with the conservation guidelines and specifications of the Ordering Party, indicated in Chapter V) within the set deadline. The quantity of materials must make it possible to pack the entire collection in accordance with the given specification and formats 2) Loading cartons/packages into transport containers (containers/boxes) protecting against weather conditions, transport and unloading including: removal/delivery of boxes/boxes/cartons, packaging in transport containers and transfer to the vehicle. Cartons with objects must be marked ‘up-su’ (top-up-su+ direction arrow) and so positioned in the transporters/transmission boxes. Detailed Description of the Subject of the Contract is attached as Annex 2 to the SWZ and the Draft Agreement (Annex 5 to the SWZ). 7. The contracting authority provides for the possibility of conducting an on-site inspection, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter XXXIII of the SWZ. 8. The contracting authority did not divide the contract into lots due to the division of the contract would risk excessive technical difficulties and the need to coordinate the activities of different contractors throughout the contract implementation period. The related additional work on the part of the Contracting Authority could result in excessive costs of implementation and the risk of improper supervision of individual contractors.
