Germany-Jena: Recreational, cultural and sporting services
Jena is the site for the development of the National Optical and Photonic Museum. The German Optisches Museum Foundation (D.O.M.) closed the existing optical museum in order to redesign the D.O.M. from scratch. As a research museum, D.O.M. will live the international link with science & research. In order to build the D.O.M., the existing building is being rehabilitated and expanded. As a tourist highlights, the interactive exhibition will attract countless world-class historical exponents, link them to everyday applications and at the same time make science a showcase for optical research. To this end, the exhibition must be planned and its implementation monitored and monitored. Approx. 3 000 m² of exhibition & traffic space is available for the project.
The budget is EUR 10.5 million gross and consists mainly of funding. The planning starts in January 2020, the opening will take place in 06/2020.
