Description

The city of Ditzingen intends to build a new 5-group nursery centre on the approximately 2.580 m² ‘An der Lehmgrube’ on the outskirts of Ditzingens. An architectural competition was organised for this purpose. Negotiations with the winners are currently ongoing. A compact, angle-shaped and two-storey building is planned for two groups of crèches (U3) with a total of 20 children and three kindergarten groups (Ü3) with a total of 65 children. New wood-building or hybrid wood construction is planned. The specificity of the task is the integration of the new building in the urban planning context with the adjacent small-scale residential development and the refugee facility, and is limited by the green noise wall. The periphery offers prospects for vast agricultural land. The reference costs of the cost groups 300+ 400 net for the new construction are estimated at approximately EUR 4.3 million and the actual costs are determined on the basis of the planning. The city of Ditzingen is seeking funding for municipalities. In this respect, the requirements of the ‘Sustainable Building Plus Quality Label’ (QNG-PLUS) will be taken into account in further planning. Support for possible certification measures is desirable. Planned timing: Planning start after conclusion of the contract, planned completion in 2027. A suitable engineering firm with experience in timber construction/hybrid construction is sought for the services of structural design in accordance with Sections 49 and 51 of the HOAI LPH 1-6, including site monitoring as a special service. The assignment is to be carried out in stages. In the first stage, performance phases 1-3 will be contracted. There is no legal entitlement to the subsequent performance level. Negotiations are expected to take place on 30 April and 3 May 2024.
