Description

The intervention consists in the functional adaptation of the current SP22 of Porrione and Terzo, in the Municipality of Pieve a Nievole (PT), to the type of a secondary extra-urban road type C1, pursuant to Ministerial Decree 05.11.2001 ‘Functional and geometric rules for the construction of roads’. To achieve this, it is planned to expand the existing SP22 to reach the 10.50 m section, remodel the road plan (with adaptation of the curvature radii) and the altimetric profile (with adaptation of the levels also according to the hydraulic grid). It also provides for: - the construction of a new roundabout (pursuant to Ministerial Decree of 19 April 2006 on ‘Functional and geometric rules for the construction of road intersections’) to replace the T-shaped intersection between SP22 and Via Marconi; - the construction of a service road parallel to the planned road for the confluence of the accesses currently present; - the construction of a cycle path also parallel to the planned road, connecting existing or planned cycle paths, in accordance with the Structural Plan of the Municipality of Pieve a Nievole. Works of art are planned, such as some boxes designed to restore the connections between the existing channels interfering with the new SP22 route and reinforced earth walls to support the road survey.
