Description

Since 2006 Hordaland County Library has established a transport system between libraries in Hordaland. Bergen Public Library has been the junction for the distribution.
Gradually 23 municipal public libraries and the University and university college libraries in Bergen have entered into the system. This means transport of books and other materials one to five times a week on fixed dates.
Other materials include CDs, movies, periodical, paper copies, etc. A joint concept for these materials is the word goods.
The transport system also includes returning books and other goods to other libraries in Norway, except Hordaland.
Within the county, the books shall be transported in crates of various sizes dependent on the number of books which shall be transported. The crates are owned by the County Library.
