Description

In connection with project 12149, Archive Administration's central repository and Norwegian Health Archive at Tynset, Statsbygg requests tenders in connection with:
— Construction management ombudsman, and
— SHA co-ordinator for design (KP) and execution (KU).
The tender may include either or both functions.
About the project: The government decided in June 2009 to establish facilities for the Norwegian Health Archive at Tynset. In August 2011, the government decided that a central repository of National Archives will be co-located with the Norwegian Health Archive at Tynset. Health and Human Services Department is responsible for the necessary premises for the Norwegian Health Archive at Tynset. The Ministry of Culture is responsible for the necessary premises for the National Archives central repository. Both archive units will be organised as part of the National Archives.
The Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Health and Care Services are Award authorities, but the Ministry of Culture has overall responsibility for co-ordination of the project. A user co-ordinator has been appointed representing both National Archives and the Norwegian Health Archive.
In a letter dated 9.11.2011 Statsbygg was commissioned by the Ministry of Culture to develop a building programme.
In a letter dated 5.6.2012, from the Ministry of Culture, Statsbygg was asked to prepare a feasibility study with costings, based on building programme dated 20.3.2011. The pilot project was completed and submitted to the Ministry of Culture 5.9.2013.
The government has proposed start-up funding for the project in the state budget for 2014. Before the end of the year, the project will have been through a KS2, ie the quality of governance documentation and cost estimates. Statsbygg awaits Parliamentary processing and assignment letter from the Ministry of Culture for start-up in 2014 before detail/construction phase can begin.
