Description

The framework agreement will be implemented by issuing order forms. Each lot will be awarded separately. The services are paid for by unit prices. The estimated amounts are indicative and include all renewal periods. The so-called "EGALIM" law of 30 October 2018 introduced new obligations for collective catering. In particular, it sets a target of at least 50% sustainable and quality products, including at least 20% organic products, in the composition of meals served, an obligation in force since 1 January 2022. The so-called "Climate and Resilience" law of 22 August 2021 also complemented the provisions of the EGAlim law, which aims to achieve 60% sustainable and quality products for meat and fish. This contract concerns the supply of food for the preparation of meals distributed in school restaurants, recreation centres, residential homes and the restaurant of municipal employees. Every day, La Cuisine Centrale prepares around 1,700 meals. The Municipal Restoration pursues several objectives: - Valuing the pleasure of eating well and the conviviality of a meal; - Taste, food balance and seasonality education; - The development of quality and local food products; - The "sustainable" dimension of food through in particular the prohibition of Genetically Modified Organisms, the reduction of the number of intermediaries between producer and consumer, the valorization of products from reasoned agriculture or Signs of Identification of Quality and Origin (Label Rouge, AOC, BBC Organic Agriculture,...)
