Description

Laundry operation services. Laundry-collection services. Laundry management services. Laundry service, expected to be on the basis of one of the following options:
— Wash & return or,
— Wash & return with linen hire or,
— Total linen management.
The Trust is also keen to look at new and innovative ways of delivering this service (eg possibility of off-site location for sorting and distribution).
Estimated number of pieces - 95 000 assorted per week with approximately 190 curtains per week.
The contract is expected to be for a minimum of 3 years with the option to extend for 2 x 12 months, but may be longer (eg 5 or 7 years) and/or include options for 3, 5 and 7 years (all with option for extension) - to be as stated in the tender documentation.
