Description

This contract constitutes Subproject 7 of the Project "Development of the institution, infrastructure, capabilities and capabilities for the governance of public data, their availability for reuse and the provision of related services in the public and private sector, in Greece - Phase A" (OPS TA 5158667), which is implemented in the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan "Greece 2.0". The contract concerns the creation of the necessary infrastructure for the utilization of the single government cloud (G-Cloud) in order for the "Platform for the provision of Public Data Governance and Exchange Services" to operate effectively and safely (Subproject 5). More specifically, the Subproject will enable the procurement of services, Hybrid cloud equipment and software to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery. Through the Subproject, EKT will procure the necessary services with the necessary accompanying equipment and software for the creation of a Disaster Recovery Site through a dual data infrastructure at EKT Data Center and G-Cloud. Replication mechanisms will allow immediate migration in the event of a disaster, ensuring uninterrupted operation without compromising on latency, performance and security. It is noted that the Subproject is the necessary intermediate stage for the global migration of EKT data and services from the on-premise Datacenter to the single government cloud (G-Cloud).
