Description

Avinor shall reasphalt the main runway (runway 18/36) with the shoulder as well as parts of runway 11/29 at Stavanger Aiport in summer 2014. Furthermore the contract will include remarking, disassembly/reassembly of affected lighting installations, the establishment of new runway edge light manholes (runway 18/36) and the necessary site works. The extent of the reasphalting of runways/shoulder is approx. 200 000 m2 for the main runway (runway 18/36) and approx. 35 000 m2.
Furtherfore approx. 360 runway lights will be affected, whilst approx. 90 runway edge light manholes shall be newly established.
