Provision of rail transport services on lines ordered by the Vysočina Region by electric and motor traction vehicles, including lines extending to neighbouring regions, in particular the South Bohemian Region, the Central Bohemian Region, the Pardubice Region and the South Moravian Region. The contract will be concluded for the period from the start of the working timetable for the period from the working timetable for the period 2029/2030 until the end of the working timetable for the period 2034/2035, i.e. for 5 working timetable periods. This is the conclusion of a contract for a transitional period not exceeding 5 years pursuant to Article 5(3a) of Regulation (EC) No 1370/2007. The Client does not exclude the requirement to purchase new EMU and BEMU vehicles, which the carrier resulting from the tendering procedure would then be obliged to take over under the conditions specified by the Client. Should the client require the acquisition of new units, the client assumes the use of financial support from the TRANSGov No 1/2024 programme from the Modernisation Fund (hereinafter referred to as the "Subsidy Programme") for the acquisition of part of the EMU and BEMU units. With regard to the terms and conditions of the Subsidy Programme, the carrier will be obliged to purchase new EMU and BEMU units in a public procurement procedure pursuant to Act No 134/2016 on public procurement, as amended.
